As Tinder’s Chief Product Officer, Mark Van Ryswyk leads the core product and design efforts for the Tinder app, including trust and safety, growth and revenue initiatives. He brings 20 years of product, monetisation and operations experience to Tinder, acquired during a successful career in gaming and mobile.
Mark spent 15 years at Electronic Arts (EA), where he worked his way up to become COO of EA Mobile. Prior to joining Tinder, Mark served as Executive Vice President at Glu Mobile, where he led the acquisition and growth of CrowdStar, the developer of “Design Home” and “Covet Fashion” – products that blurred the lines between games and consumer apps. He spent 5 years leading products that connect people through creative play, specifically focusing on virtual goods, monetisation and live content offering value to women.
Mark has a passion for connecting consumer motivations and behaviours to product design. He has extensive experience of channelling data, analytics and user research into digital experiences, and has a track record of coaching product teams to deliver hyper growth and product innovation.
